Acting CEO, Mrs Leah Manenzhe has extensive working experience in the Private and Public sector. She spent 17 years of her career in the Public Sector, where she continues to contribute to the Economic Transformation.
She has held various Senior Management positions ranging from Acting Executive for New Business Development at the City of Johannesburg (Local Government), where she was responsible for Revenue Generation and SMME development, especially Women and Youth based companies. She moved on to join the Provincial Government as Chief Director for Intergovernmental Relations, Special Projects, Strategic Partnerships and International Relations at the Gauteng Economic Development, and again at the Department of Sport, arts, culture and recreation. She served as a Board member at the Constitutional Hill.
She is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer at the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP), a position she is holding for 1 year, 5 months, and an Ex-officio Board Member.
She is well recognized for her leadership, her ability to develop and nurture talent, turnaround strategies and mentorship skills. Her passion and patience for people has seen her successfully turn organisation around and improve efficiencies.
She is a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), and has qualifications in Public Relations, Project Management, Sales and Marketing Management, and Principles of Law. She continues to empower herself, and those she interacts with.
